Licensed professional counselor
Stephanie Kettl was born and raised in Casper, WY. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies and a Minor in Sociology. She then went on to complete a Master of Science Degree in Counselor Education in 2005. While in graduate school, she worked as an intern for the Albany County Peak Wellness Center Youth and Family Team doing individual, group and family therapy. She moved to Aurora, Colorado in 2005 where she was a Treatment Coordinator at Excelsior Youth Center, a residential treatment center treating severely at risk adolescent females from around the country. While at Excelsior, she facilitated individual, group and family therapy, along with canine and equine therapy groups. After two years, she returned to Wyoming, where she worked on a contract through Wyoming Health Resources Network to help recruit mental health providers to the state of Wyoming. For the past seven years, she has been a staff therapist at Peak Wellness Center in Cheyenne providing adult outpatient mental health services. Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Wyoming and is a National Board Certified Counselor. She has also completed Level I and Level II EMDR training.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, cooking and watching sports.
