Janae Frank

Provisional Professional Counselor, PPC-1450

I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania before moving to Wyoming when I was six years old. I have always been passionate about understanding behaviors and mental health and how it impacts our ability to live fulfilling lives. I have worked with the homeless population, adults, couples and families with an array of personal goals. In 2019 I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. I felt like I had a great understanding of how our mental health is tied to other important areas of our lives, but I wanted to use that understanding to work with individuals that were struggling for a variety of reasons.

I received my provisional professional counseling license in 2024 for the State of Wyoming.

Education

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Grand Canyon University. The time I have spent working with families has built my passion to work with clients of all backgrounds and dynamics. I believe that focusing on identifying and applying the strengths we already have can be significant in seeing the changes we want in our lives. Building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and families allows me to work alongside them and provide support and a safe space with acceptance and empathy.
