Jessie has worked in a variety of roles in the mental health field since 2014, including work with an inpatient and day treatment program, center-based care coordination, intensive in-home services, advocacy support and outpatient care. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016, followed by her Master of Social Work from the University of Wyoming in 2022. She has a research background related to animal assisted interventions with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Jessie feels strongly about the importance of every individual having an understanding of how both environmental and physiological systems impact their daily life including thought patterns and functioning skills. Jessie has specialized training in both early intervention, working with children as young as 2 years old, and neurodiverse populations. Jessie has taken a strong interest in providing support to individuals with ADHD, including obtaining an ADHD Clinical Services Provider certification. Jessie is licensed in both Wyoming and Colorado.
