Treat Yourself Like a Close Friend

 
 

Your own inner voice has great influence over your mood and self esteem. What kind of phrases do you tell yourself? Is your inner voice kid, supportive and uplifting? I hope so. If not, it is time to stop critiquing yourself and start saying loving words to yourself. Treat yourself like you would a close friend. When in doubt, ask yourself “would I say this to someone I care about.” If the answer is no0, shut down that thought and reframe it.
